Get To Know Me
Welcome! I'm Christina Pereira, a Clinical Psychologist driven by a passion for helping people transform their lives. My journey in psychology began with a Master of Science in Clinical Psychology, followed by immersive experiences in diverse healthcare settings.

With a foundation rooted in extensive training at a psychiatric hospital and large regional hospitals, I've honed my skills and developed an integrative approach to therapy. My practice merges insights from systemic and psychodynamic theories. For me, therapy isn't a one-size-fits-all solution; it's a tailored process crafted to fit the unique needs of each individual.

My experience spans a broad spectrum, working with diverse individuals and communities facing an array of challenges—from depression, anxiety, trauma, and neurodevelopmental conditions like ADHD and autism spectrum disorder to complex disorders such as schizophrenia and borderline personality disorder.

I'm excited about the opportunity to work with you and support you in your quest for positive change. Get in touch, and let's embark on this transformative journey together.
My Story
I embarked on my journey in Clinical Psychology by earning my Master of Science degree. Following this, I immersed myself in dynamic workspaces, engaging with inpatients grappling with a diverse range of disorders, such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, and personality disorders. My roles have extended to child and adolescent units, where I collaborated within a multidisciplinary team to evaluate and treat young individuals and their families.
Now, in my private practice nestled in Parkwood, Johannesburg, I continue to offer compassionate support and evidence-based interventions. My practice caters to individuals seeking psychotherapy. With a foundation built upon diverse clinical experiences, I am committed to fostering growth and well-being within the community I serve.
